I can still remember things happened when I was a toddler about 8 months old ... Is it odd?

I am 56 and I can still remember places and conversations from when I was a toddler, your not weird, you just have a good memory, I freaked my mother out on more than one occastion beleive you me, as well as the rest of my elders in the family, learn to have fun with the ability I did. Especially when you can remember some of the things you saw them do and they thought you were to young and un-aware.
