Why would mother nature allow a sperm with a genetic disorder to fertilize an egg?

Thus causing a miscarriage? Why don't it save the woman the heartache. Most miscarriages are caused by abnormalities in the egg or sperm, why cause a pregnancy if its not viable to begin with? please explain if im wrong.
