MLA Format in-text citations?

ok, my english teacher shouldn't even be considered a teacher...he would not tell us how to cite our sources for this 8 pg. paper we have to do. i have a bibliography, but he also wants in text citations. what is the format for an in text citation for a web site? heres an excerpt from my essay that i need to cite: John Updike once explained, “My mother had dreams of being a writer, and I used to see her type in the front room.
