Do we have to have a maid of honor and best man to stand up at our wedding? Just elope?

You do need 2 witnesses to sign your marriage license. Our wedding was at my dad's house, just about 20 people, family and close friends (4), and we stood up together with the preacher. That was it...and it was great! After the wedding, have a big party with all your friends and family, and it's just a party, not a wedding.
