Need advice....plz?

there is this guy i met online a while back. we talk everyday either on the phone or instant message. we have such deep connection goin on. he has asked me to consider movin to be with him. I have wanted to move to the state he lives in for years but never have. i have family there so i wouldnt have to worry bout that. does this sound like a good idea... or am i livin in a fantasy world hoping it will work out. my friend and her girlfriend met like this and are still together.
