I'm scared to take that HPT....?

I think I may be pregnant....but last month I was POSITIVE I was, and I ended up not being pregnant, and it was heartbreaking. Has anyone else been scared to take a test....and just put it off and put it off....? I want to test, but I just am so scared of that negative line again after being so sure last month....
