the worrisome part here is "seed". A seed diet will kill your bird 2/3 earlier than a pelleted diet. So when you ween him be sure it's too a pelleted diet such as Zupreem or Pretty Bird. They are formulated to give him the vitamins and minerals he needs to live a good life. This diet still must be supplemented with fresh fruits, veggies, breads/pastas. So when you're weaning him it's important to get him used to all of the above.
