Appendicitis possible? help plz?

my friend was throwing up, could have had a fever and was having lower right abdominal pain and couldnt get a ride to the er, and he doesnt know if his side was swollen or not. So he he took what he thought was an anti-inflamatory but he said it was white, well those are usually red and painkiller is usually white, but he said he thinks he threw it up. Well the pain stopped and he stopped throwing up but he cant tell if he has a swollen side. Do you think his appendix was and still is acting up and he just cant feel it cause of the painkiller, or he was just having odd stomach problems? answers as soon as possible plZ.
