How long will it be before America comes to its senses in the "War on Drugs"?

I'm inclined to agree with you. The idea that you can legislate vice away is silly at best. It's a well-known fact that Holland has a much more permissive approach to drug policy, and I defy anyone to come up with any compelling evidence suggesting that the percentage of the Dutch population addicted to drugs is any higher than it is here in the United States. Moreover, I've said it before and I'll say it again: If someone wants to smoke pot in his or her living room, who is that person hurting? As long as that person isn't driving a car, operating heavy machinery, working in an air traffic control tower, etc, what's the problem?
