Is hate-speech free-speech?

There should be no infringement upon free speech. Yes, i will agree that it does get aggravating hearing various morons voice their stupidity, but the alternative is much worse. Once you start shredding the first amendment, then the others are sure to follow. Look at the Espionage and Sedition Acts instituted by Woodrow Wilson. He could put people in prison just for saying "i disagree with the government". I think i would rather have people say whatever they want than to spend my life in prison.
