Rabid anti-Americanism?

In Canada there seem to be many who seem obsessed with dissing the USA. These people seem to have an aire of superiority about them. Is this behavior the result of an inferiority complex? Is this anti-Americanism merely an indication of their ignorance? Or, does this stem from a socialist mind, eager to find any fault in a system which has afforded the Canadian the freedoms and rights to bitchh?
